Independent, and it matters
Breakwater Appliance Co. is an independent business. There is no manufacturer contract behind it, no dispatch queue assigning the work, and no third-party warranty administrator deciding which part gets replaced. The customer decides, on a written estimate.
That independence is the reason the work can be done properly at the beach. A blower wheel that has corroded out of balance gets replaced because it has corroded out of balance, not because it fell into a category on someone else's claim form.
One manufacturer
Viking equipment only: professional ranges, rangetops and cooktops, wall ovens, ventilation hoods, built-in refrigeration, dishwashers, outdoor grills. Working a single brand means the parts on the van are the right parts, and the second visit is usually not needed. If you call about another manufacturer's appliance, you will be told on the phone rather than charged for someone to come and say so.
How the visit works
- $129 flat diagnostic. Flat diagnostic fee, credited toward the repair if you go ahead with it.
- Written estimate. A written estimate comes before any work starts. Nothing is ordered or opened up until you approve it in writing.
- Repair, then warranty. 90 days on labour, 365 days on parts, genuine OEM parts only.
Getting the machine out
A professional range is heavy. In Jacksonville Beach that is a real constraint rather than a footnote: raised-slab houses, second-floor kitchens, exterior stairs and narrow older cabinet openings in the beach cottages. Access gets discussed when the appointment is booked, so the right hands and the right equipment turn up the first time.
