If the same fault comes back inside it, the return visit and the labour to put it right are ours, not yours. Parts 365 days Genuine OEM parts only. A part that fails inside the year is replaced. Nothing salvaged and nothing pattern-made goes into an appliance in the first place. ## Why OEM only, on this coast Inland, a pattern part is often a judgement call about price. Three blocks from the Atlantic it is not. The difference between a genuine part and a copy is usually invisible on the day of the repair and obvious the following summer, when the copy's thinner plating has started weeping rust down the inside of a door and the original next to it has not. So the policy is simple and it does not flex. Genuine OEM parts only. If the genuine part is on back-order, you are told that it is on back-order rather than quietly offered a substitute. ## What the cover includes - The specific fault that was diagnosed and repaired. - The specific parts that were fitted, for 365 days from the repair date. - The labour to redo that repair, for 90 days from the repair date. - The return visit itself. There is no second diagnostic fee on a warranty call. ## What it does not include Said plainly, so it is not a surprise later. The warranty follows the repair, not the appliance: - A different fault, in the same appliance or in another one. That is a new job. - Fresh corrosion, water damage, pest damage or impact that happened after the visit. On a salt-air address that clock starts again the moment the van leaves. - A power event — a surge, a strike, a utility fault — after the repair. - Work done to the appliance by anyone else after our visit. - Cosmetic condition, including clouded, pitted or tea-stained stainless. - Consumables: filters, bulbs, batteries, gaskets consumed by normal wear. - Anything not made by Viking. That is outside our scope entirely. ## Claiming it Call +1 (904) 395-4339 and say it is a warranty call. You will not be asked to produce a registration card, open an account, or explain yourself to an administrator: the person who answers is the person who did the repair, and the job record is on file. If the returning fault turns out to be a different failure rather than the original one, you are told that before any work starts, with the reason — and the usual $129 terms apply from there. The judgement call is explained, not asserted.
